Opera, Gender and Mental Health: Grant awarded to UQ Senior Lecturer”

Composer Dr Eve Klein and classical vocalist Yasmin Arkinstall are collaborating on a one woman show about Yasmin’s lived experience with obsessive compulsive disorder in the arts. They are joined by musical director Sarah Penicka-Smith and producer Melanie Penicka-Smith. In 2020, Dr Klein received a government grant from the Australia Council For the Arts to compose the operatic work.
