Funeral Singer

I’m experienced with singing at funerals and know how heartbreaking it is to select music for your loved one’s service. Celebrating their life through song is a beautiful way to commemorate them and reflect on the way they lived their life. I use orchestral backing tracks and have my own battery-powered PA system, microphone and music stand which makes set-up quick and easy at services. I like to cater for everyone’s beliefs - suggestions for songs are listed here for traditional or religious services and here for secular services. Families usually request songs for:

♫ The prelude music as loved ones arrive (e.g. a comforting, delicate song)

♫ The entrance music as the procession comes in (e.g. a heartfelt song of remembrance)

♫ The slideshow commemorating their loved one (e.g. a song really special to them and their family, a song reflective of how they lived their life or a song that captures how much they meant to others)

♫ The recessional music as the procession exits (e.g. a brighter song celebrating their life)

And for religious services:

♫ An offertory hymn to follow a reading

♫ A communion hymn(s) during the giving of Holy Communion
