I would be delighted to sing for the ceremony of your special day! I also understand that it can be a daunting task to pick songs for such a cherished occasion and would love to assist you with this. I use orchestral backing tracks and have my own battery-powered PA system, microphone and music stand which makes set-up quick and easy at weddings. I like to cater for everyone’s beliefs - suggestions for songs and or hymns are listed here for traditional ceremonies and here for civil weddings. Couples may request songs for:

♫ The prelude to create atmosphere and excitement as their guests arrive and take their seats (a few songs recommended here because some guests may arrive early)

♫ The processional to set a desired tone for the ceremony as the wedding party walks down the aisle followed by the bride (at least 2 songs recommended here)

♫ The interlude music during the ceremony’s signing of the register (a few songs recommended here as it is a lengthier proceeding and the music keeps guests engaged)

♫ The recessional music to celebrate as the happy couple exits (one celebratory, joyful song recommended here)

And for religious ceremonies:

♫ Congregational singing of a gathering hymn to unite the guests in blessing the couple’s vows (optional - one hymn recommended here)

♫ Congregational singing of a psalm that the couple would like to have sung instead of a spoken reading or prayer (optional - one responsorial psalm recommended here)

♫ Congregational singing of an offertory hymn as the gifts of bread and wine are taken to the altar (optional - one hymn recommended here)

♫ The sign of peace if this ritual is taking place in the ceremony (optional - one song or hymn recommended here)

♫ The communion (optional - one or two hymns recommended here depending on how many guests will be receiving communion)

♫ The lighting of the unity candle or pouring of sand if these rituals are taking place in the ceremony (optional - one song or hymn recommended here)
